Trains and supports adults with disabilities in daily living and community skills, ensuring their safety and well-being while collaborating with caregivers and a multidisciplinary team.
Core Function:
The Training Officer will be responsible for the daily training, care and services provide for SUN-DAC's clients.
Core Responsibilities:
- Trains and assists adults with disabilities in ADLs (activities of daily living) and CLSs (community living skills and pre-vocational skills).
- Attends to the personal needs of these adults and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Completes and submits required documentation in a timely manner.
- Works with a multi-disciplinary team to provide an individual care plan for each client.
- Plans and proposes Programme Activity in the classroom as well as festive celebrations.
- Liaises with and updates caregivers on the progress and status of clients, including conducting biannual Caregiver Staff Meeting.
- Maintains organisational cleanliness and flow in a classroom setting.
- Any other projects/duties as assigned.
