Training Support Specialist (Strategic Planner)

About the Position: This position serves as a senior strategic planner and analyst for Europe's military training support division. Providing leadership and direction to ensure training missions align with broader military goals across Europe and Africa. Managing operational planning for US forces, international allies, and partners, coordinating complex training requirements, and managing staff and budgets.

Assists in establishing priorities for the division and maintains liaison with the supported organizations and higher headquarters on all operational activities.

Actively participates in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques.

Analyzes problems discovered in prior exercises or actual operations and advises higher levels of management on the feasibility of different approaches.

Exercises full responsibility for personnel and human resource management decisions within the division.
