Trajectory Planning Engineer at BairesDev

As a Trajectory Planning Engineer, you will specialize in motion planning algorithms to ensure smooth and safe navigation for autonomous vehicles or robotics. You will focus on transforming high-level behavioral goals into precise, real-time executable paths while accounting for complex dynamic environments.

What You'll Do:

- Design and implement advanced motion planning algorithms and lattice planners for autonomous systems.
- Develop and optimize smooth trajectory generation techniques that adhere to vehicle physical limits and kinematic constraints.
- Manage real-time constraints to ensure high-frequency path updates and immediate response to environmental changes.
- Collaborate with control and perception teams to integrate planning frameworks with sensor data and vehicle actuators.
- Utilize simulation tools to validate and tune planning logic across diverse and challenging operational scenarios.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on motion planning or robotics.
- Proven expertise in developing and deploying planning algorithms such as RRT, A*, and lattice planners.
- Advanced proficiency in C++ for real-time systems and trajectory optimization.
- Hands-on experience with real-time constraints and optimization-based motion planning.
- Deep understanding of robotics fundamentals and kinematics.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
