About the opportunity:
Purpose
Provide support primarily to the relevant sector, particularly the sector Transaction Managers, Head of Sector, and Chief Investment Officer with responsibility for transaction coordination, transaction execution, and financial modelling for potential opportunities and managing the disposal of assets.
What you'll be doing
Help drive and achieve sector gross transaction budget and contribute to total capital transactions budget
Drive sale and leaseback transactional volume to contribute to transactional budget and increase portfolio WALE and income resilience
Develop meaningful engagement with Agents and Valuers to ensure understanding of current markets and pricing
Assist in evaluating potential property acquisitions nationally, relevant to sector
Coordinate and assist in presenting valuations process and outcomes to EPVC
Drive efficiency and manage risk through implementation of controls and process through transactions and valuation
Assist in coordination of transaction management including appointment and management of consultants or sales agents, due diligence, deal risk identification and mitigation, analysis, negotiations and achieving financial closure for both acquisitions and divestments.
Assist where directed in the preparation and issuance of acquisition and divestment board papers and memorandum’s including deal presentation with the relevant Investment Committee(s) or Board(s).
Developing and maintaining close relationships with agents and industry peers.
Working closely with internal stakeholders to assist the development team in pricing development opportunities.
Assisting with the valuation management process for group funds.
Focus on ESG including climate change adaption assessment with all transactions
Work closely with alternate sector teams to help drive continuous improvement across the Transaction platform
Build relationships and networking opportunities with agents and valuers in allocated markets
