Location: Belleville, Illinois, with additional office locations in the surrounding St. Louis Metro area; this is a hybrid opportunity with flexibility to work remotely part of the time.
Note: Must have 2+ years of substantive transactional attorney experience, be admitted to the Illinois Bar, and have experience with business agreements, entity formation and transactions, sales/acquisitions, real estate transactions, estate planning, or closely related transactional work. An Illinois or Missouri license is required, with willingness to obtain the additional license if needed.

Job Description
- Advise business and individual clients on a variety of transactional and business matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate business-related agreements.
- Handle entity formations, reorganizations, and business transactions.
- Represent clients in sales, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Manage real estate transactions from drafting through closing.
- Assist clients with estate planning and related planning matters.
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients and provide practical legal guidance.
- Collaborate with attorneys and professionals across the firm on complex client matters.
- Grow a book of business and work toward advancement within a shareholder-track structure.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active Illinois Bar admission required.
- 2+ years of substantive transactional legal experience.
- Experience in business law, corporate transactions, real estate, estate planning, or related transactional practice.
- Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, and client-communication skills.
- Missouri Bar admission is a plus, or willingness to obtain Missouri licensure.
