Description

About the Opportunity

Our client, an established regional law firm, is seeking a transactional associate with 3+ years of experience to join its commercial real estate and business transactions practice in Yardley, PA. You'll work closely with a senior partner on a broad, active docket, with real client contact and hands-on responsibility from day one. This is a mentorship-driven role: you'll be the primary drafter and closer on matters, with a partner handling the most complex issues, and you won't be expected to build your own book of business.

What You'll Do

  • Draft and negotiate commercial leases, amendments, assignments, and related documents for landlords and tenants
  • Prepare and review financing documents in commercial lending transactions
  • Support business transactions, including asset and stock purchase agreements and letters of intent
  • Handle real property documents such as deeds, easements, and restrictive covenants
  • Manage matters through the full transaction lifecycle, from due diligence to closing, coordinating with lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel
  • Advise clients directly, including commercial landlords and tenants, developers, investors, financial institutions, and closely held businesses across Pennsylvania and New Jersey

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of transactional experience at a law firm (litigation backgrounds are not a fit for this role)
  • Pennsylvania bar admission (required); New Jersey admission is a plus
  • Experience with commercial real estate, leasing, lending, or general business transactions
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, and comfort working directly with clients
  • Someone who wants to learn from a senior partner and take on real responsibility without origination pressure
