Transformation Finance Analyst

Job purpose:

To support the transformation initiatives by providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency within the organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of detailed financial reports that summarize the financial performance of transformation initiatives.
• Ensure that forecasts are accurate and reflect the latest data and assumptions, providing insights into future financial performance.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary financial data and ensure timely reporting.
• Review financial data for completeness and accuracy, identifying any discrepancies or errors that need to be addressed.
• Implement processes to validate financial information and ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
• Conduct regular audits of financial data to maintain high standards of data integrity.
• Analyze financial results to assess the effectiveness of transformation initiatives and identify trends or areas for improvement.
• Prepare presentations and reports that summarize financial performance for senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand the financial implications of their activities and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Evaluate existing financial processes to identify inefficiencies or areas that require enhancement.
• Recommend changes to financial procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in reporting and analysis.
• Track the implementation of process improvements and assess their impact on financial performance.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine the financial implications of current operational processes and practices.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes that optimize resource allocation and enhance financial performance.

Quality & Excellence Management:

• Assist the Transformation and Innovation Manager with the following activities:

• Manage the development and implementation of strategy and growth operational quality standards and excellence initiatives, ensuring alignment with Emarat's goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Evaluate progress and performance against established KPIs to ensure that monthly and annual targets are met, identifying areas for corrective action as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably within a corporate or transformation environment.
