Transformation Manager - Process Excellence Academy

About this role:

This is a Master Black Belt that builds, governs, and sustains Qatar Airways Group's Lean Six Sigma capability through the Process Excellence Academy. The role owns the design, delivery, and certification of White, Yellow, Green Belt and Black Belt programs, and underwrites the methodological quality, consistency, and benefits realization of business-led improvement initiatives at scale.

Job responsibilities

Strategic

▪ Act as the enterprise authority for Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and standards across Qatar Airways Group to ensure consistent application at scale.

▪ Define, govern, and continuously evolve the Group's Lean Six Sigma operating model in line with best practice and business needs to sustain methodological rigor.

Operational

▪ Position Lean Six Sigma as a core execution engine within the wider Process Excellence framework to maximize enterprise value realization

▪ Own the Lean Six Sigma curriculum within the Process Excellence Academy, including Green Belt and Black Belt programs, to deliver structured learning journeys aligned to business priorities.

▪ Deliver Green Belt and Black Belt training across the Group to build sufficient internal improvement capacity in support of the 200-100-100 ambition.

▪ Coach and mentor candidates through the full lifecycle of their improvement projects to raise quality, consistency, and success rates.

▪ Act as final authority for certification, ensuring outcomes are value-based, evidence-driven, and contingent on Finance-validated impact rather than academic completion.

▪ Oversee the quality and consistency of Lean Six Sigma projects across the Group through project selection, tollgate reviews, and governance forums to assure delivery of outcomes.

▪ Partner with Finance to baseline, validate, and track benefits realization, intervening where projects are at risk to ensure methodological discipline.
