Transformation Manager

Lead and manage the transformational projects. This role will serve as the PRS Transformation Director’s primary transformation partner to institutionalize an operating model that delivers predictable P&L performance, portfolio and NPI acceleration, disciplined execution through a world‑class project management operation (PMO), and end‑to‑end value creation across commercial, engineering, operations, and supply chain.Project Management Office to achieve portfolio strategy execution through cross-functional project excellence, driving NPI and supporting sustaining, transfer, and M&A integration projects while ensuring organizational project management maturity and business value delivery across focused markets and acquisition initiatives.
Your main tasks:
Portfolio Management
- Build a 3–5‑year transformation roadmap aligned to PRS sub-vertical strategy; translate into organization activation, annual execution plans with measurable value drivers.
- Managing project portfolio to achieve PAC (Product Approval Committee) portfolio strategy
- Lead the adoption of best-in-class product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions that enable faster time to market for our products.
- Overseeing processes and procedures for managing all project lifecycle types including NPI, sustaining engineering, and acquisition integration projects
- Establishing structure to achieve project execution goals and metrics (Optimal Engineering, NPI Health, NPI Pipeline, Sustainability metrics for NPIs, M&A synergy realization)
- Enabling the right amount of project visibility and schedule execution with stakeholders and customers to create and deliver winning products.
- Providing robust risk mitigation reporting and tools to drive early risk identification and escalation of unforeseen risks.
- Identifying, developing, and effectively deploying tools to enable resource and portfolio improvement management with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, PM, OPS).
Leadership & Development
- End-to-end project management for the PRS business overseeing all of the engineering & major operations projects globally along all stages from start till handover to the final owner (e.g., point of release production at a manufacturing site & market introduction).
- Working with functional managers to evaluate, mentor and oversee individual Project Manager capability
- Developing a talented PMO organization with strong accountability culture
- Establishing future project management staffing needs and competency requirements for both organic growth and M&A scenarios
- Developing and implementing project management training and visibility
- Establishing future project management staffing needs and competency requirements
- Improving customer intimacy of the team. Partnering effectively with the key stakeholders to drive the VoC and the ability of the team to fullfill internal and external customers’ needs
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Influencing and collaborating with cross-functional areas across multiple time zones and cultural contexts that contribute to project success
- Proactive collaboration with Product Managers responsible for products/technology created by projects
- Working with functional managers who assign human resources to project teams
Process Excellence
- Ensuring all projects are documented within TE Project enterprise software application
- Collaborating with other PMOs to implement and continuously improve templates and procedures
- Performing regular "health checks" on portfolio projects to evaluate compliance and taking corrective actions
- Establishing future project management staffing needs and competency requirements for both organic growth and M&A scenarios
- Embracing the Continuous Improvement paradigm and achieves YoY productivity by continuously eliminating waste, improving team’s focus and prioritization, upgrading talent / improving capabilities, and expanding team in low-cost countries
- Deploying TEOA within the entire Engineering organization together with peers
Your ideal profile:
QUALIFICATIONS - MUST HAVE (Critical Requirements Only)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
- 15+ years progressive project management experience in industrial sectors with demonstrated global leadership
- 10+ years people management experience leading distributed project management teams across multiple regions
- Proven experience managing M&A integration projects, including technology transfer, facility consolidation, and organizational integration
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
- Strong technical background in connector, sensor, or electronic component technologies
- Extensive experience managing engineering transfer, sustaining engineering, and integration projects
- Advanced proficiency in project management software and enterprise systems
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority in matrix organizations across cultural boundaries
QUALIFICATIONS - NICE TO HAVE (Preferred but not Essential)
- Master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- M&A certification or advanced training in integration management
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- Experience with SAP, PLM systems, and AI-applications application
- Multi-region project management experience with proven track record of managing teams across Americas, EMEA, and Asia
- Manufacturing transfer and facility consolidation project experience
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Fluency in multiple languages preferred

Travel Requirements
- 25-50% travel required
- Domestic and international travel to TE facilities and acquisition sites
- Customer site visits as needed for project requirements
