Transformer Production Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Transformer Production Engineer to join our production team in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and monitoring transformer manufacturing activities up to the 132 kV class. This role is crucial in ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining product quality, process efficiency, and timely delivery. The Transformer Production Engineer will manage shop-floor operations, coordinate manpower, and ensure adherence to engineering drawings and manufacturing standards. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and monitor daily production activities against production schedules and delivery commitments. - Supervise transformer manufacturing processes to ensure smooth workflow and optimum resource utilization. - Monitor production targets, cycle time, material availability, and work-in-progress. - Manage shop-floor manpower, machine utilization, and work allocation effectively. - Coordinate with Design, Quality, PPC, Purchase, and Stores to resolve production bottlenecks. - Ensure compliance with approved drawings, manufacturing procedures, and technical specifications. - Monitor manufacturing activities, including core assembly, winding coordination, insulation, tanking, and final assembly. - Identify production defects, minimize rework, and implement corrective actions. - Ensure compliance with applicable IS/IEC standards and internal quality procedures. - Maintain daily production reports, rejection records, downtime reports, and material consumption data. - Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring safety compliance on the shop floor. Required Skills: - Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or a relevant engineering discipline. - Relevant experience in transformer manufacturing and production management. - Knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and quality standards. - Strong leadership, problem-solving, production-planning, and team-coordination skills. - Experience with power transformers up to the 132 kV class is preferred. This position offers a competitive salary range of 3.0 Lakh to 7.0 Lakh INR, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
