Employment Opportunity
We are seeking professional Unarmed Transit Security Officers to provide public safety, fare inspection, and customer service across the transit system. This role combines security guard responsibilities with customer engagement, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for riders while enforcing transit regulations.
Successful candidates will have strong de-escalation skills, situational awareness, and public interaction experience. Officers patrol transit areas on foot or by vehicle, monitor for safety concerns, perform fare inspections, and respond to incidents.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in security, military service, law enforcement, or public-facing customer service roles.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide unarmed security services through foot patrols and vehicle patrols across the transit system.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
- Conduct daily fare inspections.
- Identify, document, and report security violations, safety hazards, and suspicious activity.
- Monitor transit areas to prevent public disturbances and safety incidents.
- Assist during emergencies and special events, including:
- Crowd control
- Service disruptions
- Collisions
- Fire or life-safety incidents
- Enforce agency policies regarding trespassing on transit property, coordinating with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Notify law enforcement of criminal activity and provide detailed incident reports.
- Take prompt action when observing accidents, fire hazards, property damage, or safety risks.
