Job Description

Transmission Line Designer

· Proficient in the English language.

· Proven verbal and written communication.

· Knowledge of overhead transmission line construction methods is preferable

· Experience with various CADD tools like AutoCAD, MicroStation, Google Earth, Revit, Civil3D.

· The preparation of engineering drawings like Plan & Profile, permitting, assembly and structure framing/loading drawings, reports and designs to support engineers.

· Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.

· Picking up the markups as per the client requirement.

· Communicating with engineers and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.

· Preparing, reviewing, and redrafting alongside the engineering team.

· Work independently but with some engineering guidance on complex projects

· Ensuring final designs are compliant with regulations.

· Identifying and communicating potential design/drafting problems to the rest of the team.

· Participate in technical meetings with clients.

· Ownership responsibility in the assigned work is required.
