Role Overview
- Leading full cycle project management and project closeout activities
- Developing and managing project scope, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets/cashflow, and resource plans
- Monitoring project performance
- Managing project risks/issues, and change management processes
- Coordinating transmission line engineering and design activities, including routing, structure selection, foundations, conductor systems, and constructability reviews
- Ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards including NESC, ASCE, IEEE, utility requirements, and quality management procedures
- Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams including civil, electrical, geotechnical, environmental, and ROW professionals
- Supporting procurement activities including bid package development, vendor evaluations, and equipment sourcing
- Coordinating construction activities, utility outages, contractor efforts, inspections, and field execution
- Providing technical oversight and resolving field issues to ensure construction aligns with project requirements and design intent
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Leading project communications, status reporting, client meetings, and stakeholder engagement
- Supporting business development efforts, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and marketing initiatives
- Approximately 80% office / 20% field work
