VanRentalsNG is seeking a results-driven Transport Agent (Marketing Officer) to identify new business opportunities, connect with organizations requiring haulage services, and drive revenue growth within Jos and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new customers for haulage, logistics, and transportation services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses and potential clients.
- Promote company services through visits to markets, warehouses, factories, and other business locations.
- Source transportation and haulage opportunities within Jos and neighboring areas.
- Negotiate service rates and agreements with clients.
- Monitor market activities and identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally in all client engagements.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience in marketing, logistics, transportation, haulage, or sales is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of the local business environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven, proactive, and confident.
- Comfortable with field marketing and client visits.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships.
- Must have a smartphone and be comfortable using WhatsApp and social media for business development.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
