Transport Controller
Summary
Oversee a fleet of trucks and drivers in Singapore, scheduling deliveries, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards.
- Lead and manage a team of Transport Coordinators
- Manage truck drivers which include recruitment, discipline issue, termination and etc.
- Work closely with site personnel for delivery scheduling
- Propose alternate solutions in meeting target if the schedule or work are failed to be achieved
- Responsible to calculate and project transport fare for each trip
- Ensure well keeping and maintenance of all trucks
- Ensure the practices and procedures meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements
- Ensure safety practices and housekeeping are maintained as safe work procedure
- To perform Ad-Hoc duties as per assigned
Requirements:
- Familiar with Singapore Routes
- Night shift required if assigned
