Transport Data Analytics Specialist

Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 7,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Real‑Time Line‑Haul Trucking Monitoring Monitor vehicle status for hub‑to‑hub and hub‑to‑station trips. Track vehicle GPS location and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA). Verify carriers’ departure and arrival punctuality. Trigger system alerts and conduct follow‑up actions for delays and transport anomalies.

• Transport Exception Handling Respond promptly to incidents including shipment delays, route deviation and vehicle breakdown. Notify haulage carriers, hub dispatch and internal operation teams. Activate backup vehicles or contingency plans following standard SOP. Document all transport anomalies and compile exception reports for further data review.

• Data Recording & Analytics‑Driven ReportingCore focus for this position: data validation, analysis and insight generation Validate accuracy of Bill of Lading (BOL), operation ledgers and departure logs. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly transport‑performance KPI reports. Perform root‑cause analysis for transport exceptions and produce actionable insight briefings using Looker or Tableau to support operational improvement.

• Cross‑Functional Stakeholder Coordination Act as the real‑time information focal point for line‑haul trucking operations. Maintain close alignment with hub‑dispatch teams and serve as primary liaison for haulage carriers. Sync operational updates with internal stakeholders including warehouse and customer‑service teams.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above; Logistics / Supply‑Chain‑related majors will be an advantage.

• Prior hands‑on experience in transport dispatch or transport monitoring is preferred.

• Willing to work rotating shifts to support cross‑border business operating hours.

• Competent in written and reading English for daily operational work.

• Strong data‑analysis capability: proficient in Excel; working exposure to Looker / Tableau for KPI reporting and data insight extraction.

• Able to work under pressure with solid problem‑solving skills.
