Transport First Line Manager (Nights)
Pay Rate: £38,935.10

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off – Night Shift 17:00 - 05:00
Location: Doncaster - DN3 3FF
✅WHAT YOU'LL DO
- To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
- Ensure drivers are legal and compliant on a daily and weekly basis and ensure clear communication between all functions within the transport department and the warehouse team
- To lead the work activities of the drivers and the transport clerical team, providing effective leadership, communication, motivation, training and development
- Carrying out HR Management tasks such as staff reviews, appraisals, absence management and disciplinaries
✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Proven people management experience within a transport environment, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop teams

Previous experience working within a transport office or wider supply chain operation

Strong understanding of working within a unionised environment and building positive working relationships

Competent in Microsoft Office applications; experience using Tachomaster is desirable

Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to embrace change and support the implementation of new processes and ways of working
