Job Summary

As a Transport Supervisor at SN-Riverwood, you will lead transport operations, manage teams and resources, and drive continuous improvements to ensure efficient and safe transport execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise transport operations and activities to ensure smooth execution and compliance with policies
• Plan and schedule manpower and transportation resources to meet operational demands efficiently
• Prepare and document detailed transportation operations reports for performance tracking and decision-making
• Manage and coordinate a transport operations team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives
• Identify and mitigate risk factors affecting transport efficiency and safety
• Implement and leverage technology solutions to enhance operational effectiveness in transport activities
• Lead incident and crisis management initiatives to resolve transport-related issues promptly
• Develop and execute continuous improvement plans and performance enhancement strategies
• Optimize the use of allocated resources to maximize productivity within business activities
• Enforce operational policies, standards, and procedures consistently across teams
• Supervise teams actively during work to maintain high performance and safety standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Valid Class 3 or Class 4 driving license or forklift license (advantageous but not essential)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with all organizational levels
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Attention to detail and a positive, mature attitude
