Transportation Assistant – Home Health

At Berachah Home Health Services, we’re dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care that allows our clients to live safely and independently at home. We’re seeking a Transportation Assistant to help clients get to appointments, errands, and social activities while providing support, companionship, and a safe travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, shopping trips, and social outings.

• Assist clients with getting in and out of vehicles and ensure their comfort during transport.

• Provide friendly and compassionate support while maintaining client dignity and independence.

• Maintain accurate records of transport schedules, mileage, and related expenses as needed.

• Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure client well-being.

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to coordinate schedules and special needs.

Requirements

• Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Reliable, well-maintained personal vehicle with current auto insurance.

• Must be punctual, dependable, and patient.

• Ability to assist clients with mobility needs, including walkers or wheelchairs, if required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Must pass a background check and provide proof of insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with seniors, home health clients, or individuals with mobility challenges.

• Familiarity with the Dallas/Fort Worth area and ability to plan efficient routes.
