Transportation/Auto Dealer Lead

Sunstar Insurance of Kansas is looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Marketing Specialist with a strong background in Automobile Dealers to join our growing Transportation & Automotive Specialty Division.

This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing, underwriting, or placement professional who enjoys negotiating with carriers, designing coverage solutions, and serving as a subject matter expert for automotive risks.

What We're Looking For:

✅ 5+ years of Commercial Insurance experience
✅ Auto Dealer experience
✅ Commercial marketing, underwriting, carrier placement, or senior account management background
✅ Active Property & Casualty License
✅ Strong understanding of Garage Liability, Dealers Open Lot, Garage Keepers, Property, Umbrella, and related dealership coverages
✅ Applied Epic experience a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Market new and renewal business to insurance carriers
  • Develop placement strategies for dealership accounts
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage enhancements
  • Build strong relationships with carrier partners
  • Analyze coverage structures and identify coverage gaps
  • Serve as the division's dealership insurance expert
