TRANSPORTATION CLERK

You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION CLERK in the G-4 DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. You will advise on entitlements or procedures related to personal property shipments such as temporary storage of goods, weight allowances, prohibited items, and shipment of unaccompanied baggage, privately owned vehicles, and household goods.

You will prepare cost estimates to assist the customer in determining the best method of movement (e.g., Government, commuted rate, or "do-it-yourself").

You will anticipate and meet the needs of both internal and external customers.

You will demonstrate skill in using job-relevant information systems and/or software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, automated research tools, database applications, and the Internet.
