📍 Location: 19560 S. FM 156, Haslet, TX 76052💲 Starting Pay: $68,000 - $78,000 per year 🕐 Status: Full-Time | Immediate Hire
🕔 Schedule: Monday - Friday | Standard business hours | Must be available to the drivers outside normal business hours when/as needed.

We are currently seeking a Transportation Manager to join our team.

The Transportation Manager will be responsible for executing the dispatch process that supports Operations. The position will work with the customer, dispatchers, and other operational center personnel to develop daily dispatch plans and make proactive recommendations on adjustments to facilitate the operation.

Responsibilities:

Perform quantitative analysis and develop recommendations to optimize the processes and performance.
Run statistical analysis, data modeling to identify key issues and recommend possible solutions including performing root cause analysis of business problems.
Identify and recommend solution alternatives.
Develop reports to track key metrics and results.
Develop scorecards, dashboards, and exception reports to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
Recruit and train new employees to the required competency levels and ensure all legislative requirements are met.
Maintain quality control and health and safety standards as directed by the company and customer.

Requirements:

3+ years' Transportation, Intermodal, and/or Logistics experience.
Logistics experience within a trucking (CDL) background.
Experience with managing driver performance and retention.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze numerical and written information.
Must be familiar with dispatch systems and technology.
Proficient in Outlook and MS Office suite of products.
This position will require work outside of normal business hours.
Knowledge of state and DOT regulations.
Must pass a pre-employment background verification which includes a criminal background check and drug screening.
