Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Overseeing the daily maintenance of vehicles in the fleet
- Keeping and transmitting complete and accurate records for each vehicle in the fleet
- Coordinate and manage drivers, vehicles, loads, and journeys
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation laws and regulations
- Resolve problems regarding transportation, logistics systems, or customer issues
- Review and analyze budgets, expenditures, and operations
- Monitoring driver qualifications and training to ensure all drivers understand and adhere to safety procedures
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection and assigning vehicle repair and maintenance duties
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss any logistic issues
Job Requirements
- experience as a Transportation Manager, Logistics Manager or similar role
- Solid knowledge of supply chain management and understanding of transportation laws
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Degree in Business, Logistics or a related field will be a plus
