Salary Range : $62,400/yr- $75,100/yr plus an Elite Benefit Package

Summary:
To lead and directly supervise the Transportation team in delivering safe, person-centered, and efficient transit for Wildwood’s Day Services participants, while collaborating with program leaders to ensure the highest standards of service quality.

Required Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
5 years driving experience with at least 2 years of bus/large vehicle driving experience.
One year supervisory experience
Preferred
Experience in dispatching, route planning preferred.
CDL w/ P endorsement
Essential Duties and Responsibilities included but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversee the Transportation of People Attending Day Service
- Collaborates with the Day Services Director and Managers across multiple sites to ensure safe, person-centered transportation for program participants.
- Oversees the development of efficient transportation routes and works with the Transportation Supervisor to revise them as Day Program participation changes.
- Provides oversight to ensure adequate coverage of drivers for all day services routes. May be required to provide driving coverage in circumstances of driver vacancies.
- Works collaboratively with Wildwood’s Intake Department and the day services team during intakes of new people to day services and works to meet the transportation needs of the person utilizing a person-centered approach.
- Ensures that all Wildwood Drivers are supported when on the road. Ensures proper coverage for dispatch duties, responding to driver calls and questions.
- Maintains a strong, supportive relationship with families, staff and individuals receiving support.
- Monitors and ensures all transportation vehicles are operated safely per policy guidelines, addressing concerns promptly.
Transportation Department Management
- Directly supervises the Transportation Supervisor and Drivers to ensure a supportive, collaborative, and cohesive team.
- Responsible for hiring, completing regular and on-going supervision meetings, performance evaluations, scheduling and approving time-off requests and timecards.
- Ensure all drivers have the training required to be successful within their roles. This includes regularly monitoring all required training and ensuring drivers are in compliance with training requirements.
- Co-Facilitates staff meetings to ensure that the Transportation team is kept apprised of agency events, initiatives, and fosters a team atmosphere.
- Attends agency-wide meetings such as agency leadership meetings, collaborative Day Services and Transportation meetings, and any other meetings that could impact the transportation of people we support.
