Transportation Operations Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transportation operations, including vehicle scheduling, route planning, and delivery coordination.

• Manage drivers and operations personnel to ensure efficient deployment of resources.

• Monitor delivery schedules, service standards, and operational performance.

• Oversee fleet maintenance, vehicle utilization, and transportation costs.

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

• Handle operational issues, customer feedback, and service disruptions.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to ensure smooth operations.

• Ensure compliance with applicable transportation, workplace safety, and company requirements.

• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.

• Experience in supervising staff and managing daily operations.

• Good knowledge of transportation planning, fleet management, and route optimization.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant operational systems.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of Singapore transportation regulations is an advantage.
