Trauma Registry Research Data Analyst 2
Maintains, modifies and updates the trauma registry software(s). Programs new data points as needed, designs and initiates new rules within the software to facilitate data entry and retrieval, creates chalkboards with appropriate rules. Understands complex interaction of data fields.
Designs and runs reports to facilitate performance improvement. Monitors trends in production and communicates effectively
Works with researchers; participates in study design, collects and analyzes data. Participates in the preparation for publication of manuscripts in peer review journals
Performs analysis for and participates in the design of the trauma Annual Report.
Monitors and investigates information technology problems, repairs those amenable, reports those unamenable to in-house repairs to the vendor. Tracks issue through to completion.
- Has sole responsibility for exporting trauma registry data to regulatory and accreditation organizations-ensures data integrity, security of the files and compliance with rules/regulations concerning HIPPA data. Ensures compliance with OHSU administrative guidelines for data export.
- Master's Degree in relevant field AND 2 years of relevant experience OR
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field AND 4 years of relevant experienc
