Trauma Sales Associate

Ready to start your career in one of the most fast-paced corners of medical device sales? As a Trauma Sales Associate you’ll support our field sales team in growing our orthopedic trauma business, developing new accounts, and serving surgeons and staff at trauma centers and hospitals across your territory.
Trauma doesn’t keep a schedule. Fractures come in at 2 a.m., on weekends, and on holidays, and our customers count on us to be there with the right implants, instruments, and expertise. This entry-level or early-career role puts you in the OR from day one, giving you hands-on exposure to fracture care, case coverage, and territory management, and a clear path toward a career as a trauma sales representative.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Sales Manager and field representatives with daily activities, including case coverage, customer outreach, and implant and instrument logistics
- Provide in-OR support for trauma cases, including fracture fixation procedures using plates, screws, intramedullary nails, and external fixation systems
- Participate in an on-call rotation covering urgent and after-hours cases, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Build strong relationships with orthopedic trauma surgeons, residents, OR staff, sterile processing teams, and supply chain partners
- Manage trauma sets, loaners, and consignment inventory, ensuring the right products are complete, sterile, and available when cases hit
- Work with Operations and Customer Service to coordinate replenishment, order fulfillment, and billing for completed cases
- Track case activity, pipeline progress, and key metrics using CRM and internal reporting tools
- Complete product and procedural training on fracture management, anatomy, and our trauma portfolio
- Support surgeon education events, resident workshops, bioskills labs, and new product launches
- Follow all company policies, regulatory requirements, and hospital credentialing standards
- Bring professionalism, composure, and a customer-first mindset to every case
