- Setting: Operating room–based IR service with three single-plane IR rooms, one biplane room, and one hybrid room; includes radiology room and CT; multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures, including cerebral angiography/stroke intervention, non-cardiac angiography/interventions, Y90 therapy, chemoembolization, cryoablation, venous access procedures (ports, dialysis, central lines), gastrostomy, biliary/nephrostomy/abscess drains, and biopsies (fluoro/CT/US)
- Prepare, operate, and maintain C-arm imaging equipment (single-plane and biplane) and assist with procedural setup and sterile technique
- Monitor patients during and after procedures; manage peri-procedural care and post-procedure recovery in collaboration with the IR team
- Document procedures and orders in the electronic charting system (EPIC); support room turnover and contribute to a high standard of patient safety
- Collaborate with two Interventional Radiologists, one Neuro Interventionalist, one–two Vascular Surgeons, and one PA/NP on a daily basis; participate in call rotations as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years IR/angiography experience
- Compact state radiology license in hand at submission
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification
- Ability to work in an operating room–based IR service environment with support from an IR team

- On-call coverage: 5–7 days per month; weekends only if on-call
