MRI Tech in Lancaster, PA. This 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting starts on 08/31/2026. Earn $2,769–$2,955 per week with guaranteed 36 hours. Shift is 7:00am–7:00pm with Tue/Wed/Thu on-site coverage. This role focuses on MRI imaging within the radiology discipline, requiring experience with advanced MRI systems and adherence to patient safety and exam quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic MRI examinations using AVANTO VB19 systems, following prescribed protocols and radiologist guidance
- Position patients and select appropriate imaging sequences to optimize image quality while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- screen for contraindications to MRI and monitor patients during scanning for safety and well-being
- acquire, review, and transmit high-quality images; adjust parameters to meet exam requirements; collaborate with radiologists on findings
- maintain accurate patient records, verify imaging orders, and document exam details in the information system
- ensure equipment readiness, perform routine safety checks, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate team
- adhere to infection control, radiation safety (MRI safety standards), and privacy regulations; participate in ongoing quality improvement activities
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required
- Experience with AVANTO VB19 MRI scanners is strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting on a structured 7:00am–7:00pm shift (Tue/Wed/Thu)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality MRI imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Clinical experience in MR imaging, with attention to patient screening and monitoring during procedures
