Registered Dietitian (Clinical) in the Malone, NY area for a travel, temporary assignment. Start date: September 14, 2026. Duration: approximately 26 weeks (about 6 months) with the potential for extension or permanent placement. Weekly pay range: $2,143 to $2,232 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 5x8 daytime shifts (8 hours per day). The assignment is in a long-term care and related inpatient/outpatient setting, with occasional cross-site coverage as needed. The clinical dietitian will provide nutrition services to residents in long-term care and assisted living, and to patients in hospital and related programs, under supervision.

Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents in long-term care and for patients in hospital-related programs as needed.
- Provide ongoing nutrition care, monitor progress, and adjust plans to optimize medical and functional outcomes; support cardiac rehab, cancer center, and outpatient nutrition needs as applicable.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and foodservice staff; act as a liaison to coordinate nutrition care and care planning across settings.
- Ensure timely documentation in medical records and maintain compliance with relevant regulatory standards (The Joint Commission, NYSDOH, CMS).
- Deliver nutrition-focused education and guidance to care teams and residents; contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives.
- May be required to float to an affiliated center for vacation coverage, as directed; maintain flexibility to support related sites when needed.

Requirements
- Active Registered Dietitian registration/license in New York (current and in good standing).
- BLS certification.
- Education: Master’s degree preferred (in Dietetics or related field).
- Experience: clinical nutrition experience preferred; ability to work in long-term care and related hospital settings.
- Ability to provide nutrition services across multiple care settings and to work daytime, 8-hour shifts in a travel assignment.
