Traveling Food Service Worker Substitute

We are looking for dependable, flexible, and motivated individuals to join our team as Traveling Food Service Substitutes supporting our K-12 school food service programs.

• Monday – Friday, day shift
• On-call/as-needed basis
• Approximately 4–6 hours per day
• No weekends or holidays
• Summers off!
• Travel required within a 20-mile radius

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability and willingness to travel between school locations within a 40-mile radius.
• Flexible and dependable with the ability to work at different locations as needed.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation.
• Serve meals to students and staff.
• Operate POS systems and handle cashier responsibilities.
• Stock food, supplies, and serving areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow all food safety and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with additional food service duties as needed.
