Traveling Production Engineer
The Boldt Company, a subsidiary of the Boldt Group
Location: If you're energized by new environments, large-scale projects, and the opportunity to make a visible impact, this role offers an exciting path forward. You'll work directly on project sites, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to some of the industry's most complex and rewarding work. Every three weeks, you'll travel home for a long weekend, creating a balance between immersive project work and meaningful personal time.
At Boldt, we build more than complex projects, and we build strong relationships, great teams, and lasting impact.
As a Production Engineer, you'll be at the center of project execution, helping shape how some of the industry's most complex and innovative construction projects are planned, coordinated, and delivered.
This role is designed for someone who wants to do more than support projects from the sidelines. You'll work directly alongside project managers, superintendents, foremen, and trade partners to improve workflows, solve real-world challenges, and drive production performance in the field. Through hands-on experience with the Boldt Production System (BPS), Lean construction principles, production planning, and operational leadership, you'll gain valuable exposure to every aspect of project delivery while developing the skills needed to advance your career.
As a Production Engineer, you'll help develop work plans, improve site logistics, coordinate material flow, analyze project performance, and remove obstacles that impact productivity. You'll be empowered to identify better ways of working, influence project outcomes, and contribute to safer, more predictable, and more efficient operations from fabrication through project completion.
For ambitious construction professionals, this role offers a unique career path with opportunities to grow into positions such as Senior Production Engineer, Superintendent, Project Manager, Operations Leader, or other key project leadership roles. You'll gain firsthand experience working with industry-leading builders, participate in meaningful decision-making, and develop a deep understanding of how successful projects are delivered.
If you're an experienced construction professional looking to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply and start a conversation with us.
