Traveling Commercial Drywall Project Manager

Solid Rock Recruiting is partnered with a leading commercial drywall contractor seeking an experienced Traveling Project Manager to oversee large-scale Division 9 projects across multiple locations.

This role is well suited for a project manager who excels at managing complex commercial drywall scopes, coordinating field and office teams, and maintaining tight control over cost, schedule, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large, complex commercial drywall projects from preconstruction through closeout

• Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and change management

• Coordinate with superintendents, general contractors, owners, and design teams

• Manage project schedules, procurement, and subcontractor performance

• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to ensure accurate execution

• Support field operations and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule

• Travel as required to support projects in multiple markets

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Drywall Project Manager

• Strong background in large-scale Division 9 construction

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and fast-paced deadlines

• Detail-oriented with strong financial and documentation discipline

• Willingness and ability to travel regularly
