Treasury Analyst

The Role

As a Treasury Analyst, reporting to the Group Treasury Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the Group’s cash, liquidity and treasury activities across a global organisation. This is a broad role, offering exposure to a range of treasury disciplines including cash management, forecasting, foreign exchange, banking, financial analysis and management reporting.

You will work closely with the Treasury team and wider business, providing accurate financial information, insightful analysis and effective reporting to support the Group’s liquidity and financial risk management.

What you’ll be doing on a day-to-day basis:

Prepare and deliver daily cash position reporting, providing clear analysis of key movements, funding requirements and liquidity to the Treasury Manager.

Manage the consolidation and review of bank account information across multiple entities, banking relationships and currencies.

Prepare and maintain accurate short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts, analysing movements and investigating key drivers of variances.

Support FX exposure reporting and transaction analysis, contributing to the Group’s ongoing foreign exchange risk management activities.

Prepare high-quality treasury reporting, dashboards and management information for senior leadership and Treasury Committee meetings.

Consolidate, validate and analyse financial data from multiple sources, ensuring information is accurate, complete and consistent.

Perform detailed financial and treasury analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities across cash, liquidity and financial performance.

A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience) would be advantageous.

A placement year or experience through an internship is advantageous.

Analytical, problem solving and attention to detail skills, proven experience doing this either through work experience or in an academic setting.

Quantitative mindset and the ability to work accurately with complex financial data.

Proactive, enthusiastic and driven individual.
