Treasury Analyst Trainee (Amsterdam)

What you'll be doing:

  • Monitor daily cash flow, manage bank accounts, and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Assist in evaluating investment opportunities and managing the company's investment portfolio.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cash flow statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor actual performance against projections.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and support overall business objectives.

Additional Responsibilities as Assigned.

This role is based in Amsterdam.

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a finance or treasury role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with treasury management systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
