Treasury Executive
NewBe an early applicantResponsibilities:
- Monitor daily bank balances and cash positions across assigned KLN entities and prepare consolidated cash-position reports.
- Support the preparation and consolidation of short- and medium-term cash-flow forecasts and follow up with finance teams on material variances.
- Process and coordinate fund transfers, intercompany payments, loan settlements, dividend remittances and other approved treasury transactions.
- Administer bank accounts, authorised signatories, online banking access, bank mandates and other banking documentation.
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions on transaction enquiries, banking facilities, service issues, documentation and account administration.
- Maintain accurate records of loans, deposits, credit facilities, bank guarantees, interest expenses and repayment schedules.
- Monitor foreign-exchange exposures and support the execution, documentation and tracking of approved foreign-exchange transactions and hedging arrangements.
- Prepare regular treasury reports covering cash positions, liquidity, borrowings, banking facilities, foreign-exchange exposure and other key treasury indicators.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding or unusual transactions in coordination with accounting and country finance teams.
- Ensure treasury transactions are properly supported, authorised and processed in accordance with delegated authority limits, internal controls and Group policies.
- Support internal and external audits, banking reviews, compliance checks and requests for treasury-related information.
- Assist in improving treasury processes, cash visibility, reporting accuracy and operational efficiency through ERP systems, online banking platforms, automation and digital reporting tools.
- Monitor interest rates, foreign-exchange movements, bank charges and relevant financial-market developments, and highlight significant changes to management.
- Coordinate with local and regional finance teams to resolve treasury, banking, cash-management and reporting matters.
- Support ad hoc treasury projects, funding exercises, system implementations and other finance-related assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum two to four years of relevant experience in corporate treasury, banking, cash management, accounting or finance.
- Basic knowledge of cash-flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking transactions, foreign exchange and treasury controls.
- Experience working with online banking platforms, bank reconciliations and treasury or finance-related documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP systems or treasury-management systems would be advantageous.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with banks and local or regional finance teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet reporting deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, accountability and professionalism when handling financial transactions and sensitive information.
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, transportation or a multinational organisation would be advantageous.
