About the Role

PPC (formerly Philips Projects Centre) is a wholly Nigerian-owned multi-competency engineering and infrastructure development company providing specialized end-to-end services across ICT, Power, Healthcare, Transportation, Building Services and other utility sectors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Treasury Management

• Monitor availability of funds, all bank balances and request fund transfers when necessary.
• Prepare monthly and revised weekly cash forecasts.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses of actual cash collections against forecasts.
• Liaise with banks on all cash and related matters.
• Review cheque vouchers.
• Supervise daily cash counts.
• Prepare weekly bank position statements.
• Conduct regular cash audits.
• Process documents required for foreign transactions.

2. Portfolio Management

• Process investments of idle funds with banks.
• Prepare and maintain schedules of interest on invested funds.
• Maintain proper records of investment certificates.

Requirements

1. Education

• B.Sc. in Accounting or equivalent.

2. Professional Qualifications

• ICAN
• ACCA

3. Experience

• 5 years post-qualification experience.

4. Key Competencies

Technical

• Strong appreciation of treasury and cash management, including cash forecasting, loans, investments, etc.
• Knowledge of processes and documents required for international transactions.
• Good appreciation of the Nigerian capital and money markets.
• Accounting skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to recognize and take advantage of opportunities.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong business ethics and high level of integrity.
• Knowledge of basic information technology/Microsoft Office tools.
