About the role

We are looking for a Treasurer for a renewable energy company located in Madrid. The professional will be responsible for the financial and treasury management of the organization.

What you'll do

• Manage the daily banking operations of the parent company and subsidiaries, ensuring the correct execution of payments, collections, and the availability of funds.
• Define and optimize treasury and payment procedures, guaranteeing controls, approvals, and process automation.
• Ensure the security of the payment circuit through preventive controls, reconciliations, and anti-fraud measures.
• Coordinate the group's treasury planning, including liquidity forecasting, intercompany financing, and cash pooling management.
• Prepare and report the group's consolidated treasury position, driving automation and continuous improvement of reports.
• Supervise the documentation and approvals associated with payments, collections, and financial operations, guaranteeing compliance with internal procedures.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration and Management, or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate treasury positions, preferably in international groups with multiple companies.
• Demonstrable experience in banking management in Spain; experience in treasury management with foreign subsidiaries (international banking, multi-currency, local foreign exchange control regulations) will be very positively valued.
• Experience in the design and implementation of internal controls and payment procedures (segregation of duties, double validation, fraud prevention).
• Advanced level of Excel.
• High level of English.
