Treasury Officer

As Treasury Officer, you will support the day-to-day operation of the firm's treasury function — cash positioning, bank reconciliation, reporting, and data integrity across banking and payment platforms. This is an execution focused role with meaningful exposure to crypto-friendly payment ecosystems, working closely with the Head of Treasury to keep cash visibility accurate and treasury reporting audit-ready. You'll also help drive adoption of automation and AI-assisted reconciliation tools as the team modernizes its tech stack.

Responsibilities

Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash position, liquidity, and treasury KPI reports for the management.
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards, including forecast-vs-actual variance analysis and written variance narratives.
  • Support board and management reporting packs by compiling accurate, well-sourced treasury data and commentary.
  • Maintain reporting templates and documentation so outputs stay consistent, auditable, and easy to hand off.
  • Flag anomalies, trend shifts, or data-quality issues surfaced through reporting for escalation.

Bank Reconciliation & Data Integrity
  • Perform daily reconciliation of bank, PSP, and EMI accounts against the general ledger and internal records.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation exceptions, working with Finance to trace root causes.
  • Operate and maintain automated reconciliation tools and AI-assisted matching engines, tuning matching rules and exception queues rather than reconciling manually line by line.
  • Own the accuracy of bank feed integrations, transaction tagging/categorization, and due-to/due-from tracking across entities and currencies.
  • Support month-end and audit close by ensuring reconciliations are complete, documented, and signed off on time.

Cash & Liquidity Support
  • Monitor daily cash positions across multiple entities, currencies, and accounts, and flag funding needs early.
  • Assist with intercompany cash transfers and internal funding movements between operational, client and reserve accounts.
  • Support cash flow forecasting by maintaining underlying data feeds and highlighting
  • forecast-to-actual gaps.

Banking & Payment Operations Support
  • Support day-to-day banking operations, new market/product onboarding, and ongoing maintenance (e.g., bank RFIs, compliance queries) across banks, EMIs, PSPs, and card networks.
  • Build and maintain direct communication channels with bank relationship managers and financial institution partners.
  • Prepare fee, rate, and FX data analysis to support negotiations led by the Treasury Manager/Head of Treasury.
  • Track banking risk exposures and safeguarding compliance requirements, and escalate gaps promptly.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for executive leadership on sensitive personal and business matters.

FX & Treasury Risk Support
  • Track currency exposure across entities and support execution of FX hedges under guidance from Treasury leadership.
  • Assist Finance Reporting team with treasury-related compliance checks and audit requests.

Treasury Technology & Automation
  • Support testing and rollout of new automation, reconciliation, and reporting tooling, including AI/agentic workflows as they're introduced.
  • Partner with Finance IT and Engineering to troubleshoot bank feed or integration issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in treasury, financial operations, or accounting, ideally in fintech or financial services.
  • Solid working knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and general ledger fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with a TMS (e.g. Kyriba, GTreasury, Nomentia, or similar), ERP (e.g. Xero, Planergy, NetSuite), or a reconciliation platform is a strong plus.
  • Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills; comfort working with large transaction datasets.
  • Awareness of safeguarding regulations and client fund segregation principles.
  • Sharp attention to detail, strong analytical instincts, and clear written communication for reporting.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary package aligned with experience and market standards.
  • Medical Insurance starting from day 1.
  • Access to training resources and development opportunities that support your professional growth.
  • Well-stocked office with snacks, drinks, and refreshments available daily.
  • A multinational organisation that promotes a strong, collaborative culture.
  • Regular team-building events and company activities that strengthen collaboration across teams.
