Treasury & Settlements – Accounts Assistant

We have a fantastic opening for an Accounts Assistant to join our Backstage support team in Finance.
Our Backstage support teams are crucial to the delivery across all five of our venues – The NEC, bp pulse LIVE, Utilita Arena Birmingham, the ICC, and Vox - and include IT, Finance, Marketing, People, Legal, Safety and Procurement. Collaborating seamlessly with our frontline operational teams to create unforgettable moments for the millions of people that visit us each year.
Working within the Treasury & Settlements Team, we are looking for an individual at the start of their career who is eager to learn, grow, and develop within a finance environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for revenue declarations, processing payments, and reconciling company bank accounts.

Day to day you will be responsible for:
- Revenue recognition, including declaration and reconciliation, to business systems.
- Processing payments in accordance with company accounting procedures and financial regulations.
- Reconciling company bank accounts.
About You
Our Ideal Candidate will need:
- GCSE level 5/6 in Mathematics and English.
- Working towards or committed to completing the AAT qualification
- Perform and thrive in a fast-paced environment where a high volume of transactions are processed.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are key.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
- Be able to communicate well with our internal and external customers.
- Basic computer skills.
