Treasury Specialist

Job Scope:

  • Assist to oversee and manage Group and Singapore treasury functions, including cash management,
    debt management, short-term excess cash investment, and inter-company loans.

  • Assist to monitor and maintain Group and Singapore banking signing mandate, including bank accounts
    maintenance, internet-banking setups, and consolidation of banking facilities, charges, and utilization.

  • Assist in managing banking relationships, including opening / closing of bank accounts, loan and service
    fees negotiation, managing KYC documents, negotiation of documentation for financing or any queries
    from banks from time to time.

  • Assist to monitor and enforce internal controls related to treasury management at group and subsidiaries level according to the Treasury Policies.

  • Assist in preparing monthly reports and any other reporting as required by management from time to
    time.

  • Assist in identifying and implementing any improvements in current processes to enhance the
    efficiency and effectiveness of Group and subsidiaries treasury functions.

  • Oversee and execute daily treasury activities including cash forecasting, FX transactions execution,
    fund transfer and other ad-hoc treasury related transactions.

  • Assist in monitoring the Group’s banking and borrowing arrangements, including but not limited to the
    preparation of loan covenants compliance, keep track of the use of all funds

  • Support the implementation and administer new bank technologies, products and services to improve
    the cash cycle and simplify organisation operations.

  • Manage and monitor financial risks including credit risk and liquidity risk.

  • Manage financing structures and/or products and analyse the financial impact.

  • Identify financial risks, including but not limited to currency fluctuations, banking disruption and cross
    border transactions, in relation to treasury operations in the region

  • Develop and execute strategies to manage and mitigate the organisation’s exposure to financial risks

  • Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirement:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and risk awareness.
