Treatment Mental Health Professional/Clinical Trainee (St. Paul, MN)
People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Mental Health Professional or Clinical Trainee to join the team at our Crisis/IRTS (Intensive Residential Treatment Services) program, Diane Ahrens. This community-based residential treatment program integrates mental health, medical, and substance use care in an inpatient, 24-hour, voluntary, supervised setting for up to 90 days. A step below hospitalization in our community-based system of care, these services help adults who need a high level of treatment and assistance.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Location: Diane Ahrens Crisis/IRTS Program (1784 Lacrosse Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55119)
Hiring Range: Salary variable on licensure and qualifications.
- Treatment Professional I (Unlicensed Clinical Trainee): $62,000-68,000 annually, plus $1,000 hiring bonus for external candidates
- Treatment Professional II (Licensed Mental Health Professional): $74,000 - $80,000 annually, plus $2,000 hiring bonus for external candidates.

Main Job Duties:
- Provide leadership and clinical expertise within the mental health services team, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting the high standards and reputation of the services offered.
- Offer one-on-one supportive counseling to clients, closely observing their behavior and emotional/physical symptoms while implementing behavioral management strategies as appropriate.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to ensure that treatment interventions are aligned with the client’s current needs and overall functioning.
- Engage in team meetings and communication regarding client progress and care, and actively participate in clinical supervision to provide accurate, thorough, and timely updates to the team.
