Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Treatment Nurse (LPN) to join our long-term care facility in Rome, GA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, focusing on treatment administration and ongoing patient monitoring to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed treatments and medications according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor and document residents’ conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team promptly.
• Assist with wound care, catheter care, and other specialized nursing treatments as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and treatment logs.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards within the long-term care setting.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia.
• Previous experience in a long-term care facility or similar healthcare environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nursing treatments, medication administration, and patient care protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
