Truck Driver

JOB SUMMARY:

Drives truck to deliver prepared meals to designated center and will unload meals into the center.

Additional duties included are as follows:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Drives truck to delver electric-warming cabinets containing previously prepared meals to centers and unloads into centers.
• Loads cabinets into truck and drives to assigned centers.
• Unload meals at centers and returns cabinets to kitchen.
• Maintains mileage log according to kitchen instructions.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, light, brakes, gas, oil and water.
• Washes and sanitizes truck and food containers, daily, and promptly reports needed repairs.
• Delivers commodities to centers.
• Receives and stocks merchandise as required.
• Will perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Must maintain a driving record acceptable to the corporation’s insurance carrier.
• Must be able to lift and carry weight in excess of 40 lbs.
