Job Summary

The Driver role is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of goods in support of Altor’s mission to protect people, products, and the environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction within our transport services

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Safely operate commercial vehicles to complete daily deliveries, ensuring compliance with D.O.T. regulations and ALTOR safety standards.

· Represent ALTOR professionally with a polite, positive attitude when interacting with customers and team members.

· Accurately manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), pick sheets, and other required paperwork.

· Secure all loads properly and operate vehicles using hands-free devices in accordance with safety protocols.

· Use handheld scanners to retrieve, stage, load, and unload products according to layout specifications and warehouse procedures.

· Maneuver trucks within the yard, assist with docking, and inspect containers as needed.

· Perform routine preventative maintenance and participate in monthly inventory of onsite tractors and trailers.

· Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and tools are available.

· Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
