Truck Driver - Stockroom
Description
Education/Certification Required:
- High School Graduate.
- Must have Texas Commercial or Class C driver's license and be insurable by the District.
Experience Required:
- Truck Driving experience.
- Preferred: Two years of truck driving experience
Function
Under the supervision of the Stockroom Manager and Warehouse Services Manager, delivers Stockroom orders requested by school and offices.
Reports To:
Responsibilities:
- Drives delivery truck in a safe and professional manner.
- Drives forklift in a safe and professional manner.
- Loads material from Central Stockroom and Central Receiving to offload at delivery site(s).
- Delivers items from Central Receiving to campuses and departments.
- Works in Stockroom when needed.
- Substitutes as Mail Driver when needed.
- Participates in annual inventory counts.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to read; communicate effectively in verbal and written form; meet multiple established deadlines.
- Occasional prolonged and irregular hours.

Salary: AUX/6DR: $15.00 minimum/hour (individual salary calculation is based on applicable experience)
