Truck Driver (Transportation)
There are 2-day shift positions available:
Tuesday – Saturday – 4 :00 am – 2:00 pm
Sunday – Thursday – 4:00 am – 2:00 pm
Hourly base rate - $28.75

What You Will Do
As a Truck Driver you will transport pallets of goods and packages from their place of origin to assigned destinations. This position will be located in Hellertown, PA.
How You Will Make an Impact
Qualified with Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License to operate and safely drive your assigned commercial company vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight over 26,000 lbs.
Ensure contents are properly secured inside of truck to prevent breakage or damage
Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with the clients
Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document
Stay on predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery
Perform inspections of your company vehicle prior to and at the end of your shift
Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
Notify Transportation Manager of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
Track and report working hours
Adhere to company rules and regulations
Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions. Make Safety a priority always.
Comply with DOT regulations
What You Will Bring
Work Experience Requirements
Valid Commercial driver’s license (CDL “A”) required
3 plus years of experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position required
Clean driving record while operating a personal and /or commercial motor vehicle in the last 3 years
Self-starter who works well independently
Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Skilled and confident driver
Comfortable maneuvering tractor into loading and unloading positions
Alert, focused and detailed oriented
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. at a time
An innate sense of direction
Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
Strong verbal communicator
Education Requirements
HSD or GED is required
