Job duties and responsibilities: |
|
· Establish face to face contact with Linehaul drivers thus checking them into the yard physically and virtually via Customer e-tools. · Assign Linehaul carriers optimal parking positions that maximizes the truck yard capabilities. · Ensure no unauthorized yard entry by non-Customer Linehaul carriers. · Prevent truck yard congestion by not allowing Linehaul carriers to drop trailers in yard if not authorized by Customer. · Maintain close coordination with warehouse dock POC and dispatch Linehauls to the warehouse and to their assigned door as quickly and efficiently as possible. · Become the shift point of contact between internal business units and external Customer Linehaul carriers and provide necessary details needed to address any operational defects and or escalations. · Ensuring we comply with Customer daily reporting requirements. · Ensure proper site security is being maintained and report deviations if found. · Perform other duties as assigned including warehouse sortation activities. |

Job requirements and qualifications |
|
· High School Diploma, Post-Secondary education in a related field or program would be an asset. · Display ability to work as a Team. · Able to work under pressure. · Proficient with Microsoft Office. · Have the ability to follow instructions. · Be willing to work overtime when needed. · Be willing to work and be trained in all aspects of the operation. · Detail Oriented. · Must Be Flexible. · Good Communication Skills. |
