Truss Assembler

Job Title: Truss Assembler – 2nd Shift

Department: Manufacturing / Production
Shift: 2nd Shift (typically evenings)
Reports To: Production Supervisor

Position Summary

Nisbet Brower is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Truss Assembler to join our 2nd shift production team. This position is responsible for assembling wood trusses according to engineered specifications while maintaining Nisbet Brower’s standards for safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate is a team player who can work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble roof and floor trusses using lumber, metal connector plates, and power tools according to design specifications

• Read and interpret truss drawings, production tickets, and work instructions

• Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, saws, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently

• Ensure trusses meet quality standards and report defects or issues to supervision

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and OSHA standards

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

• Follow all Nisbet Brower safety policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs
