Job Summary
The Trust Manager will lead client service delivery for a portfolio of international trusts and companies, manage a team, ensure compliance with procedures, and contribute to the strategic development of the Singapore office.
Responsibilities
- Lead client service management for a portfolio of international trusts and companies, acting as the primary contact for VIP and UHNW family office clients in Singapore
- Manage and mentor Senior Officers, Officers, and Junior Officers to meet company objectives and client service standards
- Ensure compliance with new business procedures, including accurate completion of application forms and collection of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) documentation
- Draft or coordinate drafting of trust documentation such as Trust Deeds and Letters of Wishes to support client needs
- Maintain and update the internal Client Management Information System database to ensure accurate client entity records
- Oversee financial management of client relationships, including invoicing and fee collection processes
- Act as Resident Manager of the Trust Company and/or provide director services for Singapore client entities as required
- Collaborate with executives, professional firms, private banks, and prospective clients to support business development and operational goals
- Participate in the overall management and strategic development of the Singapore office to achieve company objectives
- Manage ad-hoc administrative tasks and regulatory projects as assigned by company Directors
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in trust administration within a trustee company, private bank trust department, or trust services department of a professional accounting firm
- Sound knowledge of trust law and trust administration practices
- Working knowledge of corporate secretarial and administration services
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Understanding of private banking or investment management client service processes
- Experience in business development and marketing to intermediaries and potential new clients
- Relevant professional qualifications in trust administration, STEP, banking, accounting, or law
